How does LightSAFE support laser safety?+
Light-tight overlapping panels and dual magnetic interlocks help define a controlled workspace for the Class 4 LightWELD. LightSAFE is designed to support a Laser Controlled Area under ANSI Z136 laser-safety requirements. The complete installation, operating procedures, and protective equipment must be appropriate for the laser application.
Can the layout change later?+
Yes. The modular design supports expansion, reconfiguration, and redeployment as your needs change. A standard panel can also be replaced with a door panel.
What can be customized?+
Discuss colors, company logos, viewing windows, additional doors and interior arrangements with Serra.
Which layout fits my floor?+
Use two walls for a corner layout, three walls along an existing wall, or four walls for a freestanding island.
What door sizes are available?+
Standard doors are 45 inches wide, with 69, 93, and 117 inch options. Double-door openings are available in 141, 186, and 234 inch widths.
Are kits available?+
Yes. LightSAFE kits are available to help reduce costs. Contact Serra to discuss a kit for your layout.
Can it support two workstations?+
Yes. Connect enclosures to create multiple weld cells, or use a removable dividing wall between workstations.
